Third-party services

 

Newsletter

 

We use MailChimp as our marketing automation platform to deliver our newsletters and other email communications. The information the subscribers to our newsletter provide is transferred to MailChimp for processing in accordance with their Privacy Policy. Therefore, MailChimp, with servers located around the U.S., keeps personal data about your name and email and gathers statistics about email opening and clicks as part of its service.

Mailchimp is a registered trademark of The Rocket Science Group, a U.S. company, and has certified they comply with the EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield Framework as set forth by the U.S. Department of Commerce regarding the collection, use, and retention of personal data from European Union member countries and Switzerland.

The users of the website www.magotstudio.com who want to signup to MAGOT Newsletter are requested to complete a double opt-in process, which requires them to verify their email address. The potential subscribers must fill out and submit our online signup form, then they receive a confirmation email and are required to click a link to verify their email.

We send newsletters only to users who have agreed to this double opt-in.

Analytics

 

We use Google Analytics to measure the traffic and to analyze the use of our websites and optimize their performance.

We use PayPal to process payments for our products and services. All Personal Data required to perform the payments to our products and services is provided directly to PayPal. We do not have access to any of your personal financial information, such as credit card numbers. When you purchase any of our products or services, PayPal requests you explicitly to agree with their Privacy Policy.

PayPal Inc. is a US company that provides online money transfer services. PayPal monitor every transaction to prevent fraud, email phishing and identity theft and is EU-U.S. and Swiss-U.S. Privacy Shield compliant.

Accuracy and Data Retention

 

We take reasonable business measures in compliance with laws to keep your personal data accurate and up to date, to the extent that you provide us with the information we need to do so. If your personal data change (for example, if you have a new email address), then you are responsible for notifying us of those changes.

How long will we keep data?

 

  1. Disaggregated data: Disaggregated data will be retained without a deadline for deletion
  2. Subscribers data: During the time your account is active or as long as needed to provide you with our services in accordance with our Terms and Conditions. In any case, it will be the minimum necessary from time to time, currently subject to certain statutes of limitation terms:
    • 4 years: Law on Infringements and Sanctions in the Social Order (obligations regarding affiliation, registration, cancellation, contribution, payment of salaries, etc.); Art. 66 ff. General Tax Law (Accounting Books, etc.);
    • 5 years: Art. 1964 Civil Code (personal actions without special time limit)
    • 6 years: Art. 30 Commercial Code (Accounting Books, invoices, etc.)
    • 10 years: Art. 25 of the Prevention of Money Laundering and Financing of Terrorism Act.
  3. Newsletter subscribers’ details: From the moment the user subscribes to the newsletter until the subscription is ceased.
  4. User data uploaded by MAGOT to pages and profiles on social networks: From the moment the user offers consent until he/she withdraws it.
